The Mission Of Our Work Web design and development is truly a constant evolution of technology, practice and procedures. It's our job to stay on top of these advances to provide a genuine experience for the user. Opportunities from the web are not accomplished from template sites that are a dime a dozen and yield no specificity. A site must stand above the crowd and make it's claim above the masses of mediocrity in form and function. Just having a site is no longer "good enough". Don't believe it ever was. However, the time and money spent on a custom site can reap reward to sustain itself and become an asset to any organization. Creating such a site is the mission of our work.
How A Web Design Goes Straight To Hell
This is a brief comic relief on exactly why we all pay professionals to perform tasks we are not suited to perform.
Would you represent yourself in a court of law? I didn't think so.

Why "Semantic" code? Think of HTML tags as structural building blocks telling us what parts we are dealing with and CSS as strictly display formatting. Combine the two and you get the best of both worlds. Semantic code is Search Engine friendly and WAI friendly. So something like:
<h1>We work <abbr title="twenty four hours a day, seven days a week">24/7</abbr></h1>
would have a dual purpose. First of all the <h1> tag lets code readers, like search engines and speech programs, know we are dealing with a heading. Which gives us insight as to where we are on the web page. Secondly, the <abbr> tag gives us more information on an acronym that may not be well known to many people. This allows various technologies and individuals to have a better idea of what is going-on within your web page.
